removing silencer?

basiclly is there any performance gain and is there a chance is will throw off any of the sensor?? does it make a huge noise difference??

Your 2007 SRT shouldn't have any silencer. On the earlier 2006's, it was an appendage that jutted off to the left side of the intake tube right up next to the intake. If for some reason you do have that silencer on your 2007, you can order an updated tube from the dealer without it. Or better yet, pick up an AFE 2 intake and make your car really scream under WOT and gain about 8 hp too.

I know the AFE 2 has shown 8 hp on the 5.7 hemi but I think the tests over on LX forums show that it doesn't do much HP wise on the SRT.
