Cat back exhausts...

Hi again, I've had a quick look thru the topics but unable to find anything to do with warranty issues when installing any cat back after market exhaust systems whatever the brand..If you have changed your systems to these, were you advised about any voidance of your warranty, or were the agents happy with these exhausts?....cheers...Jim

There are no warranty issues with changing the exhaust, but then again the dealer could be the issue.

Thanks for the response, our dealer down here, couldn't really give me a firm yes or no, either way, so I'll leave it as is. I also had a Mopar CAI installed today, wow, what a difference in the exhaust note under acceleration! A nice audible V8 sound now, awesome, and I can sense the smoother feel of the motor breathing fresh cold air. No drone at 60mph as a previously installed CAI made in my '96 Nissan Maxima a few years back, drove (pun intended) my wife crazy, we eventually sold it, mainly 'cos of this loud under bonnet breathin' noise. So I was relieved when I drove the car away this morning, no noise at all when reaching my cruising speed, but WOT, oh boy, joy to my ears!!

Just get the Mopar Borlar exhaust. They can't cry fowl over that.

For sure remove the resonators from the stock exhaust first and see if that works for you before you spend a ton of money on an aftermarket exhaust. THen you can put all that money into buying a Quaife LSD for the car, which makes an enormous difference!

I would suggest the Blastin Bobs pipes if you want to save some bucks,
but have a nice, deep exhaust sound.

His pipes are excellently made, and they come in 3 or 4 different decible
levels, so you can choose just how loud you want your exhaust to be.

He uses nice tips too, so they also look great!

He is a vendor here, so give him a ring, and see what he has.

You remove your resonators, and intall his pipes in their place.
You get all the hardware, and excellent installation instructions.

Jim
