I just found that site browsing in another catagory, but 3 attemps to load it still timed out. I sent you more pics so you can take a good look at them. I got these headers and a set of stock srt8 cats (that I gutted) from Hennessey. When I saw this thick bead I figured I'd grind it down and install these. After getting under the car and seeing what a pain it is to get to them I've put it off, but I still think these headers would flow fine if it weren't for that bead...BTW...Sorry to hijack this post...

no worries on the hi-jack. i really appreciate all the info. i have been so up in the air about the headers.

so it looks like ill be ordering the corsa cat back. and the magnaflow cats. if i go with headers, i think it will be the kooks. ive heard good things about them.

From the posts I've read the headers/hi flows seem to be the way to go. After seeing the insides of the stock header I definitely believe the headers should be the first to be changed since that's the first line of blockage.

i would like to do headers. but everything ive been reading on them makes me want to wait for a better option.

most people seem to experience all the power in the top end. i would prefer the power to come on a little earlier. which seems to be the case with the short tubes.

also, the long tubes seem to be giving people CEL's.

obviously i dont have the experience myself. im just going by what i have been reading on the boards. i know alot of what i have been reading is related to the 5.7, but i dont think things would be much different on the 6.1?

hopefully some of you fellow srt guys with headers can chime in. im really in no rush right now. because i wont be installing them till next spring when i can get on the dyno. but id like to get everything ordered, so i can have it waiting in the garage.
