I had drone. Right at that cruising rpm. I'm not sure if it has gotten better over time, or if I have just gotten used to it, but it doesn't seem as bad as when they were first installed.

Glad I could help. I still can't decide if I want to try them. I really want a Corsa cat-back, but... $$$$! But then again, I don't want to buy the Blastin' Bobs until I definitely decide I'm not getting the cat-back.

Hope you love yours!
Got mine on this weekend, I went with the 9db kit. Took me a little over an hour to install , and the 4" tips look real nice! Sounds great on start up, but there is a lot of drone once the rpms settle down. Once the car has a chance to warm up it's actually pretty quiet at cruising speeds, but aggressive when you want it. There is a little drone at higher revving cruising speeds, but nothing too bad. The resonator delete is perfect for those of us who want our SRT8 to sound aggressive but aren't willing to drop the $$$ on a cat-back. Exactly what I was looking for. I promised the wife to keep the mods to a minimum on this vehicle

I just joined the resonater delete club. The sound is deep, musclecar-like. It really is the stock sound, just more of it. I like it, and for $250 after some expensive tips I guess the price is okay.

For those of you that have done it, what diameter piping did you use?

2.5 inch or 3 inch was all the exhaust guy had, and 3 inch didn't match up right so we used 2.5 inch. I sat and worried about a power loss, but there are parts where it's forced down to 2.25 inches before it hits the new pipes so it cannot be downing the power - at least I hope. Certainly doesn't feel like I lost anything, may have actually picked up a few ponies
