Need Help Picking BB Resonator Kit

I would like one of Blastin Bobs resonator delete kits. I am worried that the 9db kit will have too much drone, but I'm also worried that the glasspack kit will not make much of a difference over stock.

Thoughts?

5db for me was good.. no drone... just enough difference to make it worth it.

7-9 db seems to get good reviews... I know a couple of 11db that folks sold because too loud.

If you are looking for a louder exhaust, i say turn up the radio and go ahead with the 9db,

I went with the glasspack kit, I'll post back with my experience.

Thank you for the help.

I just had my glasspack kit installed today. Its definitely louder than I anticipated. Start up and idle to around 1800 RPM's has a strong note, but above that, and at WOT, I can't tell a differernce from stock.

If I had to do it over again, I would do it the same. But if you are looking for a loud, typical V8 sound, I would go for the 9db or 11db kit.

Definitely go with the glasspack one. The 9db kit I had rattled the interior like crazy.

I'm putting my Glass Pack kit on tomorrow. I will let you know what I think and I'll try to get some good quality sound bites.

I installed the Glass Pack kit on Sunday and I'm definitely impressed. Great quality and craftsmanship. 1 page directions but there really wasn’t any need for more detail. Lined up perfectly and installed in about an hour by myself.

Overall-it’s a little louder than I expected at start up and up through 1800 rpms. I drove 300 miles round trip to Nashville and back and I couldn't tell much difference at 2200 rpms and 75-80 mph. This is my company car, so I wanted to have a little bit more than stock, but it couldn't be obscene since I take customers out in it. One of my managers who rides in my car constantly didn't notice until I had to kick on it in city traffic to which he just reiterated how fast my car is and how good it sounds. He never asked if I changed something, but he's not really a car guy.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the product and I’m glad I didn’t get the 9 db kit.
