Stock replacement air filter for csrt8?

Time for a new filter and instead of getting cai I decided on either K&N or AFE replacement filter. Are the dryflow filters better then oiled?

go dry

the dry ones are better.

Oiled is old news and subject to error when cleaning and re-oiling.

Uh...the only dry one I can find is AEM, and it's a whole replacement intake, no replacement filter for the stock box...I love the idea of easier maintenance...but how does the AEM dryflow stack against AFE stage II in terms of performance? Better yet, why can't we get a dryflow sandwich for the stock air box? That would be fantastic. I'm happy enough that I only use $5 worth of supplies every time I renew my K&N sandwich...but skipping the re-oiling step would be ten times nicer...

Speaking of, my filter says Hastings on it. Is that an OEM manufacturer? Or did the previous owner get a filter from a quickie lube place?
