I have had my 06 SRT8 since Saturday and installed a Predator 93 CAI tune yesterday. The unit came with the 9r20 crom. First impressions today are the power didn't increase much, just made it more efficient and the car more uncontrollable on new RSA's :-)
However I see some saying the 9r12 crom is better. Should I dial back to that for even better results?
I think for winter I may have to go back to the stock tune. I don't plan to drive this in snow or bad weather, but on cold roads like this morning traction was rough.
The '06 will not run any different between ver12 or ver20. But try to run the 91 octane tune and see what you think. You can also send DS a copy of your "last tune written" and they will add the traction control back on for you for a winter tune. I have not driven my car one block without a Predator tune since I installed it, enjoy!

Thanks I will try the 91 and see. I was noticing that some had better luck with the 91.
Good to know about getting DS to add traction control back. Think that would help quite a bit until it warms up again. Then it's custom tune time.
I went from pre 9 versions to 9r04 and I wish I could go back but I cant,9r04 is good but the older versions where better
