MagnaFlow High Flow cat update

Hey all,
just wanted all of you to know that my high flo's burned up at a little over 70,000 miles.
Since I was the beta tester, Magnaflow hooked me up and replaced.
Just wanted you to know that the ceramic inserts (I think that is what they are) were clanking like a mother inside the housing.
The only way that you'll know your's are shot...
A loud rattling metal clanging when you come off the accelator.
Almost everyone here though should be good with theirs from a mileage standpoint and a...
driving standpoint...
Thanks,
cbutler32

Glad to hear. I was a little concerned on these as I had read some less than flattering reviews on another forum. Adding high flows is next on my list.

Not to threadjack, but does anyone know a good place (vendor) to buy them at less than the $443 "standard" price?

Your welcome.
I was the beta tester on these things.
After 4 years, I will dilvulge this info - the HF's were rated at a 9RWHP gain.
I saw a number that was almost double that several times on the dyno. Magnaflows policy is to err on the lower side - that way anything more is a MAJOR plus.
and these things were put through 70,000 somewhat aggressive miles...
happy motoring.
