mid pipes problem

Hello all, first time poster needs help locating mid pipes without cats. I have a 06 300c srt8 with kooks long tube headers and a magnaflow cat back system. I want the cats gone and can't seem to find anybody who sells just the mid pipes for this application. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I believe HHP has them.Or call Kooks direct. The mids pipes will probably run around $400.

Thats somthing I should have thought of (having them made) I talked to kooks and they want over 500 for non-cated pipes, fairly sure I can have them made cheaper than that. Thanks for all the help guys.

Most exhaust shops won't do a catless mid unless you know someone. It's a $25,000 fine for them if they get caught.

I have just recently found this to be true, over the phone they aren't interested up here in the NW. Are there any draw backs to just gutting the cats I have on the car? I've heard of some torque loss but there doesn't seem to be all that much of a difference in the diameter of the cat housing and I'm trowing rear O2 sensor codes (and minor pulsing under throttle)anyway (fairly sure there crapping out). Any thoughts/experiences would be appreciated, thanks.

sucks

cats crap out often if your tune is off.

While it's nice to run without (as the SRT8 is known for having a bottleneck at the cats) I prefer to keep them on the car.

But you definitely don't have to. I bet you got 15 hp there with careful tuning.

I'm going to take them off and look if there shot I'm gutting them. I've got the predator ordered should be here in a couple days. I'm not real familiar with custom tuning or even were to get it done around the Seattle area, but it seems from looking through the forum that the predator does a decent job. The ads states the programmer does most the tuning automatically are there specific settings posted that might work better than the generic flash for certain modifications?
