Exclamation Engine Pinging Sound ??????....
Okay this is the deal I have an 07 CSRT8 that just hit the 15k miles.
The other day I pulled into the garage after a 20 mile round trip, I noticed after I got out the car to go into the house I can hear a Pinging sound coming from the car it may have lasted about 10 minutes.
It sounded like it was a ballbearing bouncing threw the engine or exhaust area, is this normal?
Also it was a cold day here in Fort Campbell, Ky about 28 degrees.
Have anyone had this issue ?
Do I need to go see the DEALER?
Please advise..

Probably just the exhaust system and/or heat shields creaking and groaning as they cool down and contract.

I'm sure it was just condensation and water burning off of the hot exhaust pipes. What color is your SRT? Look for a fast moving silver/blue one
