What is the advantage of having a Predator?

The Predator finishes tuning where the factory left off. It doesn't add performance, it unlocks it. The factory tune leaves a lot of room for improvement.
Will this void your warranty? Yes and no. If you go to the dealer with a Predator tune in, you'll probably get red flagged. However, with the Predator, you can restore it to a stock tune before dealering it.

Upgraded fuel/timing programming giving you more go and mild HP gains, upgraded shift pressure for a firmer shift, more responsive downshifts, higher shift speeds, speed limiter removed (yes you have one there somewhere! lol), ability to control fans for cooler tstat, ability to alter fuel and timing manually (for future use with cams, headers etc), reset and read your own trouble codes, monitor systems while driving, and the obvious ability to blow away a non-predator car! Your car WILL feel more responsive and WILL pull a damnsite better than now... don't think... just buy.

Oh and the good part is you can remove it whenever you want in 60 seconds so it won't void warranty on a service... complete stealth... awesome...

the real question is, what is the disadvantage of having a predator.... i can't think of one. as others have said, if you are worried about the warranty, it's easy to take the predator tune off and restore it back to stock when you go to the dealer. i usually drive to the dealer with the tune in, and restore it back to stock in their parking lot right before it goes in, i haven't had a problem.

I noticed a good increase in miles per gallon after installing the Predator, by about 3-4 MPG.

and my personal favorite, the "push back" to the ever intrusive ESP system.

It allows you to spin tires and slide a bit without shutting you down! To me it is just about the perfect mod, VERY effective even on a stocker.

Besides some supporting vendors who have dropped the price and often combine the predator with a CAI, you might want to consider checking out our F/S parts section. Many people have been unloading their predators because they are selling their car or moving up to the Trinity version. Just make sure they have returned the unit to settings that leave it unlocked from their vehicle.
