SRT8 - Limiter UK Models perhaps?

SRT8 Limiter - UK Models

When I give some revs, it seems to cut out at 3000rpm I also find this when I sometimes hit the kick down just doesn't seem to have the power sometimes. Is there a limiter on UK spec SRT8 touring models (wagon) And can it be switched off somewhere in the engine, or is this a job for the man?

The engine won't rev out when in park or neutral (not in gear). I think it's set to about 3000rpm. You can change this with a Predator.

Yes mate you need a predator for definite. The SRT8 does hesitate in dropping down a cog for a few seconds when you hit the throttle hard to accelerate. The predator eliminates this and gives you a more firm / aggresive change with more power. You can also increase / alter the RPM settings if you wish to rev the engine whilst in park.

Im also a UK resident - ordered mine from ( The Power Shop - MORE POWER TO YOU ) You will need a UK power adaptor for this which is available at Maplin - Multi volt 1000 mA adaptor ( part number L82BF ).

I also recommend a MOPAR CAI ( Chrysler Winona :: Winona, Minnesota, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Dealership )

if you dont want to buy a predator(daft if you dont) just pull fuse number 2 for 20 odd seconds(engine bay fuse box)put it back in and then drive it like you stole it.....in neutral the rev limit should be 4000 rpms...pull the fuse and see if that brings her back to life
