Will 91 Octane Cause Stalling?

I recently drove up to Chicago from Dallas for the holidays and in OK and MO the "premium" was 91. When I got to Chicago and went to start the car, it stalled twice before starting. On the way home, I was in OK and had just filled up with 91 and the car immediately stalled and stalled another 4 times in traffic. I was able to make it home to TX and filled up with 93 as soon as I found a place. I haven't had the problem since, but wanted to follow up on it in case I make another trip.

I would not expect 91 to cause a stalling problem, particularly with a Diablo tune of any kind.

No way 91 would cause stalling. Unless it was the 85% ethanol swill.

crap gas

sounds to me like a tank of garbage. The octane probably wasn't the issue, but the quality of the blend was.

They change blends around here like 4 times a year and if you get the wrong gas it can be felt.
