Car pulling to the right again!! Tie Rods?? TSB?? (Moved)

My car is pulling to the right again. I brought it in to the dealership in November and told them and asked about the tie rod TSB. The dealership service guy told me that the tie rod TSB was only related to the Michelin tires and not the Goodyear F1's.
I took the car to my local shop and had them align it and all was good until last week when it started pulling to the right again.
Can I check the tie rods myself?? What am I looking for?? IS it possible to go back to the dealership and make them fix the alignment problem under warranty or TSB? Is the alignment and pulling to the right the tie rods??

Thanks again in advance and rock on 300cforums.com

IMO caster has the biggest effect on the right pull.
Shifting the cradle forward on the passenger side, or shifting the cradle rearward on the drivers side would be the most likely fix to adjust caster and a right lead.
The outer tie rods are more important for adjusting toe, although toe can also have some effect on a right/left pull. I just don't think adjusting toe is the likely cause of your right pull. Who ever is doing your toe alignment should be able to notice if your outer tie rods are bad because the toe will keep changing as they try to set it.

To fix a right/left pull, most alignment shops will first want to cross (right to left) rotate your tires to rule out your tires. Are your tires directional or non-directional?
If they are non-directional than have them cross rotate the tires.

The tires are Goodyear F1's and the front right tire is showing wear on the outside edge. I really need to replace the tires ASAP and have been avoiding replacement due to the $$$$.

Maybe I should replace the tires and then have the alignment done. Is the alignment something that is covered under warranty?? TSB?? I am lookng for a set of Toyo Proxis 4's, 255/45/20 all the way around. I think the
rears are the 255's and the fronts are the 245's??

Either way I think I should get the tires first and then do the alignment either at the dealership or at my local shop.
What do you all think??

Alignments, including TSB's for alignments, are only covered in the first 12 months or 12k miles. Looks like you are past that point and are no longer covered under warranty.

I would get new tires and the alignment on the same day. No need to waste money on an old set of tires.

make sure

most shops will not move the cradle.

Make sure your shop is familiar with the platform. Print out the revised specs in our TSB area.

IMO, most SRT8's benefit GREATLY from a proper and thorough alignment.
