Electrical "glitches"

after a month of owning my SRT8 I have noticed some intermittant elctrical issues. Just wondering if there is link bewteen theese or if this is common.
NOTE: my 05 300C does not have these. intermittant ( excpet one never works)

1) Auto up drivers window. Didnt work when I first got it, read the manual, reset it, it worked. A few dys later it stopped agian. I have to redo this about once a week. Also, it ssems to reverse itslef back down at about 1/3 of the way up. I know there is a safty feature but none of the causes listed are present.

2) Auto seat recline on car turn off / key removal. This works most of the time, but occaionally I shut off remove the key and the seat stays put.
NOTE - this option does not work at all on my 05 300C despite it being enabled in the user options...

3) Auto door lock. Sometiomes it does not lock the first time i exceed the speed et (20 MPH I think). Anyway - Most days it locks driving down my street ( adfter exceeding preset speed) others it takes a second time - and then t could do it at a lower speed.

Am I alone on these? Sorry if this is the wrong section to post in.

1. the auto window feature has a flash update to fix this (driver door module and CCN (cluster) update as these 2 units work together for this feature.) a flash update is a software fix that is installed by a dealer Star Scan Tool (the computer that talks to the network of our cars)

2. the auto slide back needs to be re calibrated.. as i recall run the seat (without sitting in it) all the way forward, then all the way back, then all the way forward again, this will reset the position sensors.. also there is a drivers seat module flash to update the module.

3. the auto door lock works like this: car in drive, car moving greater than 15mph AND under acceleration.. the doors will not lock if you are coasting... I discovered that I could coast down hill up to 45 and it won't lockuntil I blip the throttle. the owners manual does tell you that you have to be accelerating..

If you are in Southern California, I own a dealer star scan and am ASE certified and will update your car no charge.. dealers will charge an hourly rate if out of warranty...

Will the flash update do anything to my Diablo tune?
Are the flashes cumulative or can I just specify the window flash update?
Where is the CCN cluster? Im leary as the dealer broke my colant tank doing the coolant TSB.

Will try the reset 1st - same questions again about the flash.

Good information! Thanks

I wish - and I'd pay you despite both my cars being under warranty. I worked in that field putting myself through college. I know what goes on behind closed doors - I hate to let them touch my cars, most of them are hacks.

1. CCN is your DASH cluster.. (CCN = Cabin Control Node) all the interior features of the car are controlled by the CCN, and configured at the Front Control Module/Gateway (FCM).

there are between 9 and 19 modules in the car depending on your options, each module can be updated independently.. the only ones that effect your diablo tune are the PCM (powertrain control module aka ECU) and the TCM (transmission control module) if you update those you need to remove the Diablo tune. If you have a custom Diablo tune make sure to save it to your computer before unloading it from the car, this way you can put it back.

2. see above

3. I am not a dealer tech, never have been, just decided that I wanted to be certified..

I have been having simular problems. Auto wipers work some times, along with auto head lights. It started when I installed the diablo. I hope they are not related. I have less than 2000 miles left on my waranty.

Diablo is not part of the equation for me.
