So....Does anyone know if the 18" steel wheel used on the Charger for police duty will fit?

Nice wheels and tires, Dave. Those should serve you well. I've had Blizzaks before, on my ImpalaSS. (I miss mine..do you miss yours?)

I went another route for winter driving. Instead of wheels and tires, I bought a used 4X4 pickup! A little more expensive than your solution but I gave up my last truck to buy the SRT8 in May. I hated not having a truck (4 months is the longest I've been without one, ever!) so I found a nice used Dodge 1500 Club Cab.

But I don't suggest this as a solution for everyone!

hey guys, quick question about TPMS. is it really REQUIRED to get it on my winter wheels? if i dont get it, wont it just show me a fault and thats it? or is that going to interfere with something else when im driving? im just trying to keep the price down, if i can.

nevermind, it looks like it just keeps binging at you if you have a TPMS fault. i broke down and ordered winter wheels and tires with the TPMS....should get here in a couple weeks.

I miss mine from time to time. But then I take the SRT8 out for a spin and realize what a technological leap this car represents over the old body-on-frame Impala SS. Besides, my Impala is in a good home now, with an LT4 motor and a Camaro 6-speed manual installed, in addition to all the mods I did. So I know it's not languishing in a parts yard somewhere.

I'm running the ASA ST3s with 19 inch Pirelli Ice and Snow tires and they work very well in the snow. In fact I drove from NFLD to Toronto (3000km) in the dead of winter with that setup and it was great...

Cheers,
Chris

Yup 255/50

My wheels were on close out too I wonder if I'm confused on the ST3 versus ST2...Mine look like AMG replicas...

got my wheels today. the Pirelli scorpion ice and snow look like really good, grippy tires. it was late when i got to them, but snapped a picture with my cell phone. these are the ASA ST3s, in case anyone else was thinking about them. they are older AMG monoblock wheels style.
