Front end noise

I notice a clunking noise coming from the front wheel area. It only makes this sound in reverse with the wheels turned all the way left or right. (nothing is rubbing) Does anyone knows what this might be?

me too!

when backing out of driveway, sometimes feels like front wheel is slipping on ice, even though the road is dry! I have looked under front, and also see nothing rubbing, or loose, but will ask dealer to check it out on my next visit.

I don't even have to turn mine very sharp and get the loud opping noise. In fact I took some people from the office out to lunch the other day and when I was backing out of the parking stall at the restaraunt they all thought I hit something the nosie was so loud.

Has anyone asked the dealer about this yet?

Some guy on this board talkled about the wheel hitting the sway bar or sway bar link or something.

I don't have that issue since the new wheel up front has 1/2" less backspace.

I don't know what it is but I can tell you I don't have it (knock on wood). I often back into parking spaces in cramped quarters, and I've never heard it or felt it. It sounds to me like something the dealer should check out.

It may be a defective or improperly installed bushing. Inspect them yourself or have the dealer take a look.
