A 6" x 3/4" bolt impaled my right rear inside sidewall on the way back from Palm Springs tonight. No chance of the tirefit POS working. Ended up at some ghetto fix a flat place that has a used 275x45x20 Goodyeat Eagle II for $50 that barely fit. Apparently nobody in the sticks has an immediate need for a high performance 20" tire.

I'll likely go with the R/T spare idea. Thanks for the info and details.

Man that sucks. That is always my fear that the tire is going to take a hit that the fix a flat crap isn’t going to be able work. Sorry to hear this happen to you. So you actually were able to get that tire to fit. I’m going to just bite the bullet and buy a spare as well.

My wife says the spare will be part of my Christmas present. I guess the Startech grille and Mopar CAI moved down.

If a set comes back up for sell....just an idea.

Moose,
Let me know if you ever want to borrow a spare. I've got lots o' tires in my tire shop, um, I mean garage. 20 F1's and six rims so far, should be two more on the way soon.

I plan on taking a photo of me and my 22 F1's and me in front of my 15 month old car and sending it to Goodyear and asking them if this is "Normal" to go through 5 1/2 sets of F1's in 15 months.

What the hell? Maybe they'll send me a coupon for some free or discounted tires!

Hi Guys!!

I don't like being spare-tire-less either. In fact - it makes me uncomfortable. I wish my car had an inflatable temporary spare. [given that a full size spare apparently won't fit] The NSX that I traded in for my SRT8 had one of those and it was fine. It came with a small electric air pump that you plugged into the lighter. It took a few minutes to completely inflate - but it worked fine. AND when the tire was without air - it only took up a little more room than if it was just the rim. [If that makes sense] Is there anything like that available?!

Thanks,
Craig!!
