Looks like someone needs to come up with an in trunk spare tire holder. Something that can be affixed to the cover in the trunk and be able to hold a 20" or 22" wheel.

If you do a search, you'll find there have been a few that found dougnut type wheels to fit and fit under the trunk mat like a regular car.

Those using the doughnut type spare for a front wheel flat will need to swap with a wheel from the rear so that it will fit over the front brakes. So the doughnut is only for rear application…..or at least that was how I understood it to be.

I ordered the temp spare from tire rack in May, still back ordered, now they are on strike at Goodyear so if any one else has a temp tire they want to sell PM me, I have the rim, jack, hold down etc...

I solved my spare tire problem by getting a 17" Chrysler Sebring wheel, and putting a 235/17 tire on it. This wheel will fit over the calipers on the rear of the SRT8, but not the front, so if I have a flat on the front I'll just move a rear wheel up front, and use the spare on the rear. I just hated the idea of no spare at all, and not even run flat tires. You'd think Chrysler would have done one, or the other????
