I am in Texas, VVV90 should have gotten his pads today or tomm. He is in Illinois.

How's your search for trailers going?
Hi Mark. Got a line on a drive on hydrolic one similiar to the ones you were looking at for $7000 CDN. I figure I've got lots of time to get one built.

Allright nKelly. That makes 2 C-Tek Beta testers (#1 and #5) checking in with positive results on the brake dust issue. Or lack of now, yes.

The brakes need to be put through some harder braking, different style roads or tracks. I will put the brakes through her paces with my lead filled size 12's.

I guess you can say I am a good candidate for the new less dustier C-Tek's.

You should have wrote, "DCX FIX OUR BRAKES!!!". Very cool though that you gave it up for 300cforums. That picture is worth 10000000000000000 words...

The C-Tek pads perform the same as the stock pads under normal driving conditions (around town & highway). I don't think they're designed for track use.

Did you find that they perform like the stock ones when you where in a position where you had to make a hard stop(that factory ones do an excellent job in stopping the car pretty quick when under hard braking for sudden stopping)?

thanks

In my opinion, during hard braking and panic stops (in normal driving conditions), the C-Tek brake pads performed as well as stock pads without the excessive dust.

Oh my God! I almost fell out of my chair when I saw those pictures. That's classic! I love it. And it's a very easy way to explain to my non-SRT friends who don't understand what all the fuss is about.

Now go clean those wheels quickly before the acid from the brake dust permanently etches the URL of this forum into your wheels!!

Jeez, Nkelly doesn't F**k around! Way to go, glad to hear of the -dust and +brake performance.

I just checked UPS and my package should arrive today!

....although my guinea pig status will probably fall dead last. I have to work late tonight, work tomorrow at 6:30am to 2:00pm, then go to a M&G up North, then go to a BBQ, then do a Texas Holdem tourney....

...Sunday is another M&G at perfect auto finish and then Monthers day dinner.

I'm swamped.

DanRealtor I believe used those pictures of mine, for a Q&A with the SRT engineeers awhile back.

I didn't leave the URL on the wheels for long at all. I wrote 300Cforums on them took the pics and then cleaned the wheels immediately. They cleaned right off with no problems. You should know Dave. The SRT wheel pictured is now on your car, lol.

The picture is worth many, many words. Dan Realtor I believe used my photos to send to the SRT engineers, during a Q&A awhile back. I took that picture the first few weeks I owned my SRT.
