The picture is worth many, many words. Dan Realtor I believe used my photos to send to the SRT engineers, during a Q&A awhile back. I took that picture the first few weeks I owned my SRT.
Actually it was me who used your pics Mark. DanRealtor is responsible for something else. He has problems with excessive rubber wear and road grooving.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. I forgot who used the SRT dirty wheels pictures of mine. Thought is was DR. I took them awhile ago and couldn't remember who sent them to the SRT engineers.
Could you also send me a link or info. about the trailer you are having built, with similar hydrolics/set up as the one I showed you.

Hey, I got my 05-005-05 pads put on yesterday...I've heard one brief squak from them since. They didn't do my rotors, but I can live with that. It'll only strengthen my case to have the forthcoming 3rd gen SRT pad TSBd without being charged for labor...since 2 of the 3 symptoms (dust and grooving) will be present when I bring it in outside the 12k window. But I LOVE the lack of squeak. To be honest, I could probably live with my brakes as they are now. Rotors are cheap and I have to blast the bugs off the front 2-3 times a week anyway, so blasting the wheels at the same time is nothing extra. Not that I won't get the new pads when they come out! What I really can't wait for is for my RSAs to wear out. That's when I get the 18" wheels with winter tires and put some F1s on the stockers for summer playtime (prolly burn a set a year, but my dad's cousin is one of the biggest wholesalers in the midwest, so I'll get those at his cost...)

Got nothing for you yet Mark. I sent my son-in-law on a recce to a local company who builds them just after Spring Fling. I'll go over there one of these days, take some pics and get whatever info they have in the near future. It's just not high on my list of priorities right now cuz we're gearing up for the Gus Macker (3 on 3) tournament in a couple of weeks. HUGE weekend!

Every set of pads on your site says "Not Recommended for Track Use". So, obviously my question is: What pads are "Recommended for track use"?
Are the original (AA & AB) DCX pads the best bet. I hammered those hard at Sears Point with zero fade last September. I am running Willow Springs on 9/8 and would prefer zero brake fade at the end of the 2400 foot straightaway that sets up for a 90 degree left hand turn!

Until a real race pad comes out for the front calipers (plenty exist for the rear), I would continue to use the factory pads at the track and save these C-Tek pads for the street.
According to the UPS tracking, it's sitting by your front door, waiting for you to come home and use it!
I tell you Dave. What customer service. You are correct my friend.
The pad spreader package was sitting there when I stopped by my house an hour ago. I look forward to trying out the new tool soon.
I will try to get the new pads installed on Sunday. With Mothers day on Sunday as well. I might wait until a week night, next week, to do the install. I am taking my nephews fishing Sunday morning.

Got my pads and no Spreader... Can I get a Track too Dave? I am leaving at 5:00 am out of town and would love to throw the pads and spreader in the Trunk and get the change done while on the road. Let me know...

Your spreader was sent directly from the supplier in California, rather than waiting for another batch to reach NJ and then turn it around to you. It's showing as scheduled for delivery tomorrow by FedEx Ground. I think the supplier must have sent yours the day AFTER I placed the order with him.
That explains why I didn't receive my big inventory order of pad spreaders today. Mine is also scheduled for delivery tomorrow by FedEx. And my big pad order from Centric (including Bernard's C-Teks) shipped on time, but didn't show up today. UPS tracking says "rescheduled for Monday" with no explanation for the delay and no "exception report" showing. Drat! Were there tornados in the middle of the country this week? Any other natural disasters?
