DZ any info on prices??

thanks for the excellent write up
I've added these brake pads, as well as several other brands that fit the rear calipers, to my web site at http://www.zeckhausen.com/Chrysler/300C_SRT8.htm.

There are only 5 sets available now. More sets will become available in a couple of months.

thank you, Dave, for an illumination of a sticky problem. Sounds like a cheap fix if my dealer doesn't help me.

Any of you other gentlemen waiting for the DCX fix or jumping in with Dave?

Dave. Those are excellent prices for the Centric pads. Great find. I want one of the 5 sets you have, plus a set of the stop-tech braided steel lines. I want to ditch the rubber lines in favor of more feel/response in the brakes. I sent you a PM. Let me know when you are ready for shipping.

I still plan on going with the Stop-Tech big brakes, once USW makes my new 20" wheels, with the spacing allowed for the bigger ST calipers. Probably end of summer. Thanks Dave.

I do. Now there are just three sets left.

Keep in mind that these have been on my car for only 1 day. So far, so good. But let's not jump the gun here. I'm almost glad there were only 5 sets in the country, since it gives a small group of us the opportunity to evaluate these pads under a wide range of conditions before giving the final thumbs up. Anyone else considering ordering these pads should keep in mind that they are participating in an experiment, not buying a guaranteed solution to the dust, squealing, and rotor scoring problems.

At the very least, the five participants in this experiment should refrain from too much gloating in their posts about not having to clean wheels every day.

Now I'm going to go out for another drive. What should I do with all the extra time I'll have later, since I won't need to wash my wheels when I get back?

Well Dave, that's really going to be tough. Here's what I plan on doing:

Mark,

Given that you plan to get the StopTech brakes at the end of the summer, you should probably skip the brake lines. You'll be discarding them anyway, since the StopTech BBK comes with a complete set of lines. And I doubt there would be a big secondary market for used brake lines.

For just $17 more, you could get one of those cool pad spreader tools instead. You wouldn't be throwing THAT away at the end of the summer!

Dave, I just placed my order with you. I'm hoping you'll be able to ship to Canada. In case they're all sold now, please cancel Matt's (vvv90) order and send to me instead. I deserve them more than he does as I was the first one to post about the dusting...haha. FreebirdSRT8's a good guy, so he can keep his.

I read all the news on your web site. Pretty impressive to find you're the number one StopTech dealer in the world for several years.
