Thanks Dave.............I'm on the way to your site now........

Just a couple of updates. First, the C-Tek pads are currently in stock. I'll be sending invoices to the folks on the waiting list who are outside the USA in a few days. Everyone in the USA who was on the waiting list, should have been notified by now. If you never received your invoice, check your spam filter first. That's where your invoice is likely sitting. If not, just contact me at orders@zeckhausen.com and I'll resend it.

Second, there is a new pad available for the SRT8. It's called the Rotex Gold and it is, in fact, the same pad marketed under a different name. See: http://www.300cforums.com/forums/srt...omparison.html for details. I don't carry this pad, but other well known vendors, such as Brake Warehouse, do. If you try to order the C-Tek pads and there's another shortage, all you have to do is find a vendor who carries Rotex. Same pad, different box.

Newbie here. Just cruising around and reading. Trying to talk my wife into maybe scoring a 300C SRT8, so I was doing some research and ran into this brake issue. Nice! I would have thought Brembo would have hooked Chrysler up and brakes would be the last problem these cars would have had. Anyway, I'm getting a little bit of a feel for who's who around here, and this seems like a cool site with many knowledgable folks. I just wanted to put .02 in on the ebc deal even though I haven't read everything about it quite yet. Good and bad for me. Bad was when I ordered the green stuff's for 99-04 Mustang G.T. twin piston calipers that I put on my 4 to 5-lug converted 92 G.T. With their special brake in crap on there the pads were too thick to fit in the fully opened caliper along with the rotor. They "might" have worked if the rotor was turned to the minimum thickness. WTF! They are still sitting in my garage. Good was ordering ebc pads and ebc sport rotors for all four corners of my wife's 01 Audi S4. Even though it took forever to get it all with the rotors being on backorder from England pretty much nationwide, everything fit and I have been thrilled with the dust level and performance of this setup. I have seen none of the spotting, etc. issues. Maybe they do like their own rotors better. Oh well, Glad it didn't bite me yet, they look killer too. Wish me luck on an SRT8. The dealer here says he has 60 of them in stock.

Well I doubt 60. Maybe 16?

As far as your brake concerns...Understand that it's only cosmetic and wear/longevity concerns.

NOT PERFORMANCE CONCERNS!

cosmetic as in--too much dust, and wear/longevity--as in scoring on the rotors that wear them faster.

The SRT-8 still brakes and performs perfectly!

Good luck on your SRT-8, and be grateful these fixes exist for you.

There's no need; the SRT8s score themselves after a few miles! Sorry, bad joke.
