Yes - Charger, Magnum, 300C, and Jeep SRT8 models all use the same pads.

No more Posi-Quiet (104) semi metallic pads until December (or possibly late November). Just 3 sets of rear Posi-Quiet (106) extended wear pads left. Plenty of C-Tek pads.

In an effort to get the answer faster, I did not read all the pages. Is DCX changing the Rotors and pads or just the rotors, leaving us to get pads somewhere else. I already have the scoring at 400 miles. I took it in to the dealer with TSB in hand (thanks Resume Speed) and they are going to bring it in for service next week. Just in case they are only replacing the rotors, how much for a set of your pads DZ?

Dr. Z,
Thanks a million for the Posi-Quiets !!!

The dealership installed the "104's" and the slotted rotors at no charge. Wow, what a difference. I bedded them in on the way home from the dealership. Your instructions are dead on. There were no surprises and everything that happened during the process was expected; smoke, brake odor, pedal fade, blue haze and all.

No squeal and no dust after four days. As previously reported, the pedal feel is different and requires more pressure than with the stock pads. Hard stops (just above the ABS threashold) stop the car without any noticeable increase in distance.

I was one of those that waited...I wish I had jumped on board earlier.

Thanks again for your efforts.

All caps is annoying as all get out...and doesn't tend to encourage helpful responses...just the sort you're getting from me

As far as I know, there is no TSB yet for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, even though owners are suffering with the same dust, squeal, and rotor scoring as the rest of us SRT8 owners.

No need to go through any Hell at all. Just swap your pads for some aftermarket pads - either C-Tek now or Posi-Quiet in December.

(Thank you Microsoft Word for your automatic "sentence case" tool. It made the above post readable.)

Quick question is anyone feeling a little vibration with the new pads in hard braking? Will that go away after some mileage? Other then that they are great.
