As you know the brake warranty is only 12000 miles/12 months. What do you think the chances are you would have had problems in those 2000 miles? Slim to none is what it is.

The pads are extremely easy to change on these cars and most anyone could change them themselves anyway.

Man you guys are harsh. I actually like the dealer so far.... Impression I got was a reset on warranty, seemed kind of crazy at the time but thats what the guy said. I guess I will ask again. Maybe I misunderstood what he said or he's just clueless. I have seen the pad replacement and it is easy.

I know that some of the members have had rotor replacement beyond the 12/12. What is the highest number of miles that someone has had and still successfully got replacements?

Unfortunately I bought mine out of the 12/12 and have been unsuccessful with tsb replacement.

Premature Rotor Scoring

Does the premature rotor scoring causes a bad squeaking or squealing noise?

Welcome Gbee!!! This is a pretty old thread and was for the SRT8 brake problem. If you're having symptoms of squeeling, try bedding your brakes. Here's the instructions - Instructions for bedding in your brakes.

This can be done on any car at any time BTW.

If your pads have not been changed in a while, be sure to visually inspect them before bedding, to make sure any squealing noise isn't caused by metal-on-metal contact as a result of the pads being completely worn out.
