I'm not sure of the "politics" involved or what it entails but I do know it can be done. I would suggest for anyone outside of the warranty to contact their dealer and see what they say. If turned down, try another dealer if possible.

We need to start a special thread, or post in this one, for everyone to report their experiences in this matter. It won't be long before we will have a good idea of the "success" rate for out-of-warranty claims being honored.
Would the fact that early scoring was documented help?
I had my dealership do that even though there was no fix..

Jeez, now that my rotors are smooth again, I don't think I'll have a case as there's nothing wrong with them.

If one rotor shows premature wear but the others are fine, I'm guessing they would still replace all of them, correct? Also, this TSB doesn't address the issue of squealing or break dust. Is it ONLY for the scoring problem?

This is good news! I'll take try to get them replaced next Friday. Right now I'm at 13.5k miles but going to Vegas will add another k. They'll probably blame the grooving on my DIY ram air.

Yes. They're in Dave Z's thread, near the end.

EDIT: Here's the link. It's on the last page. http://www.300cforums.com/forums/srt...g-problem.html

I'm going to get my oil changed next month and i'll see if they'll do the TSB for me. I think my rotors are grooved/scored, near the outside of the rotor (maybe 1/4 inch from the outer lip) there is a pretty noticeable groove.

Ditto, Rambit! This TSB is about 3 months too late for me!
