I too have been toying with increasing the width and I believe I found someone who can do the work as well, but . . .

Increased tire height or I guess diameter decreases performance as I understand it (like going with 22" rims) but if we are just going wider, at what point does the extra weight from a wider tire start to detract from performance gains? That is, can or will the added weight start to take away from the gains of increased traction?

Thanks for your help guys, cause as I keep modding I got a feeling that width is going to start to become more of a necessity.

I want to track this too. When I first read the comment about expanding the width of an alloy wheel I thought, "no way". Seems you guys in NA have the technology which I have never heard about. Amazing.

contact magfx at lx forums. he put 315's on his magnum and tucked them in VERY nicely too! But he did do a lot of fabrication to make them clear on the inner side.
