Step Inside For Drag Wheels/Tires

I think this info is more appropriate in here over the Wheels/tires section. I noticed that alot of people have been looking for wheels/tires to use at the drag strip so we've put a couple of packages together to make it easiler for you to order. One part number does it all! That includes -

2 - 18x9" Voxx wheels (silver or chrome)
2 - 305/45/18 Nitto NT 555R Drag Radials
Mounted, balanced, lug hardware and shipping included

voxxdrsilver - Silver Voxx wheels with NT 555R Drag Radials $775.99
voxxdrchrome - Chrome Voxx wheels with NT 555R Drag Radials $909.99

With the NT555R Extreme Drag, Nitto engineers succeeded in designing a DOT approved, drag racing radial tire that would outperform all other drag radials, provide impressive control and handling, and still deliver up to 15,000 miles of tread life of normal street-driving use. NT555R's are manufactured with the original tread depth of 6/32nds and are constructed with a specially formulated soft racing tread compound to provide maximum traction. However, this soft and flexible tread will wear much quicker than tread compounds formulated for regular passenger cars. The Nitto NT555R is designed primarily for competition drag racing.

Orders can be placed on our website or by calling 1-877-482-9763.

Hope this helps!

Nitto's are great. The package looks great, but I think the package deal should come with level 5 half shafts and a quaife rear lol. I couldn't resist Tom.

That's my setup. I have the Quaife and broke a halfshaft like a twig. Fit's perfect, but don't mount the weights under the calipers.

I have some weights for you. Each wheel weighs 25lbs and the tire weighs 23.

That's a good weight reduction. I've weighed the stock SRT rim with the 255/45 F1 and it came in at 57 lbs.

A little head's up on the drag tire situation. I was planning on using stock 300C wheels and mounting Nitto drag radials on them. I actually got a really good deal on two of those wheels. Went to get some tires and found that there isn't anything that will fit properly on the narrow 7.5" wheels. I can get tires for them but they end up being to short. So... I'll be using this package and now have two wheels to use as hose reels at home

I expect to see a little track action next weekend!
