Tire Life

Around 13,000 miles on the goodyears, car feels alittle weird driving on uneven/grooved pavement. What are other drivers getting for tread life on the stock goodyears before they need to replace the tires. I have not been to the track, or done anything then normal wear and tear on tires.

If you’re driving the F1’s I got 19k out of mine. However, they didn’t do so well on their wear. Here is a post I made that discusses what I found my two front tires were doing….I would keep a close eye on them.

I have almost 12K on the F1's and they still look pretty good. Only been to the track twice. But I'm not expecting more than 18-20k on them.

I had 15,015 on the ODO when I changed my F1's. Rears were slick, fronts still had tread life but were badly cupped on the outside. Went back with 255's all around so I can rotate.

Not to hijack or anything, but somewhere on here I thought I read that 255's on the front would rub in certain circumstances.

Had F1 when I got it front failed early becuase of bad alingment. Got 28,000 kilometers out of front, back bald at 36,000 kilometres. currently have about 17,000 k on RSA and they are still very good, seem to wear like stone. Have to rotate them soon hope to get 50,000 k (30000 miles) out of them. Works out to be about one set of tires per year.
