Oh he is great, I ran into him over the Christmas Holiday right after I got it and all he said was "Hey how's it goin' gimme the keys" and proceeded to show me how to drive the beast proper! He drives an '07 AWD Hemi Charger as well as having multiple Harley's and BMW Motorcycles.

Mine is a company car as well....but I am free to modify it if I choose.

btw, it snows here once every 25 years, so i will have to get back to you on the snow issue.

I have driven mine in about 4 inches of snow. I substituted Avon All Weather 20" for my F1's. My car has KW 2 suspension with a 1 3/8" drop, front and rear. It actually didn't do to bad considering the front spoiler became a snow plow.
Right now we are getting about 13 inches of snow with drifting. The SRT will stay in the gararge! BTW, I've also had it on ice with snow over it. The car, with the Avons, handled very poorly. The SRT deffinately like dry pavement, and lots of it.

Meh...Avon All weather is only ~slightly~ better than the RSAs, though they're much better than F1s and last longer than RSAs. But for snow, you need a true snow tire, end of story. For snow, I like BF Goodrich and Pirelli products. I guess the short answer to beo's question is that the maximum snow level appropriate to the F1s is...oh, about a heavy frost...maybe.

Actually, if the boss was cool enough to get you the SRT, some 20" snows should be in the budget somewhere...no real need for different wheels.

Good decision. I'm not exaggerating, and Marnepup had it right: Even frost is frightening on F-1 tires.

Does beach sand count?

Just be safe....that's the most important.

I tried 1.5-2 inches with the F1's and it was scary. I was driving 30 kilometres an hour because anything beyond that and it would start fishing. Wife's Jeep works well though but when she's off maternity leave...eeeek. Pirelli Scorpions you say??
