I'm sorry, but driving in anything over 2" of snow with an SRT8 on F1's is just plain dangerous. It can be done given you drive like Miss Daisy would have but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but my enemies. Snow tires, all seasons or a winter beater is the only way to go in my book. I bought a beater (1994 Intrepid with the 6cyl) and I don't care what happens to it. At the end of the season, I'll just sell it and hopefully get what I paid for it. It was cheaper than buying 4 snow tires and 4 rims. The SRT8 is still insured for fire and theft and sitting in the garage and the insurance on the Intrepid is chump change.

300C Heritage Edition with stock Conti Self-seals and 3 in. of snow on an incline were a no go (and I grew up in central KS with lots of RWD snow experience back in the 60's and 70s). Next opportunity put Blizzacks on the rears. Haven't had as much snow, or any sense of "issues" since then in terms of ability to go. Still a little concerned about steeribility with the remaining two Conti's in the front, but slow speed should be no problem.

MSRT8 with RSAs on 1-2 in. of snow, fresh or packed, have posed no issues with respect to moving forward. Hard to say if we'll have any opportunity here to test at any further depth this season. But I'm ready to get the Scorpion for next winter... say Dec. through Feb.

In love with my first wife and first car ('68 Charger) ... still have the wife, but now there's the Heritage Edition and a Magnum SRT8!

Update! Home office again today! Did manage to get the 3 inch ice coat off the car, kinda disturbing the one on the hood may have left some scratches. Took her out for a feel not too bad, slid a bit into a 4 way stop, came home, promptly parked car...

She'll be ready tomorrow! LMAO
