Rim finshing peeling

I was wondering if anyone elses rim finish was peeling, I have 37,000kms on my SRT8 and all four rims are peeling not just the clear coat, The silver paint is flaking off in the corners of the spokes. The dealer ordered new rims for me because I refused to have mine refinished..Anyone seeing this??

There were a few mentions here and there (see link below) about the brake dust eating at the finish on some people’s wheels. I don’t recall anyone else posting about their SRT wheels doing this. We’ve had problems with the 5.7’s wheels. Glad your dealership is stepping up to do this for you…the wheels shouldn’t do that.
