Floor Jack & Torque Wrench Recos

Guys, I'm looking for recommendations on what type of floor jack and torque wrench to buy.

I was just reading this thread before heading out to Sears to buy a torque wrench for my wheels. I've found Sears tools to be pretty good, not sure I'd trust buying one on EBay. If you had to take it to get calibrated that might eat up any savings IMO. I hate paying retail but once in awhile I can justify it . . . unless anyone has anything to say in the next 30 minutes to convince me otherwise.

i believe in saving money where you can. for a torque wrench, i'd go ahead and pay retail.

when you return from sears, let me know which one you bought.

Just a suggestion on torque wrenches. Look for one that has both SAE & metric scales. In Canada they're all like that, but in the USA I'm not sure.

a Sears Craftsman torque wrench should be fine; they are made in the U.S. by Danaher (who also make KD, Napa, and Matco tools).

Be sure to return the torque wrench to its lowest setting when not in use. Otherwise it will not stay in calibration.
