Ok, but what advantage do 255/45R20 F1s have over 255/45R20 Invos? You weren't going to have wider F1s were you?

Good point. I don't want the 255's on the front. I'm also not convinced the INVO 255 is stickier than the F-1 255. I was hoping the added width of the INVO would tip the scales that direction.

Bottom line - I'm really not biased in favor of any given brand. I'm just tirelessly looking for more grip.

The outer sidewall looks large and boring in the photo. Is that what it looks like in person? Any other photos? I like the tread look.

Moose, do you know how much your Toyo's weigh in at? I still think they look better than the INVO's. I'm thinking since they are an XL or truck tire with thicker sidewalls they might weigh a little more.

If not, I'm not going to wait much longer and just go with those instead.

How could YOU need tires?

You never drive your car, and you have more posts than miles on your car!!!

I have 52,048 miles on my '06, and 1296 hours (so far).

So, unlike SOME people, I have more hours on my car than posts on this forum.

For the record VVV, how many miles and hours DO you have on your car?

Well cut me SOME slack. I take the train to work mostly and up until last September I had 4 cars and a motorcycle.

I have 13,000 miles on it after 1.8 years of ownership.

If you saw all the salt on these Chicago roads you'd put yours in the garage too.

BTW: I need tires becuase I pulled a DanRealtor. They had a good 30k miles until I brought them down to no miles after one good smoke show.

Not sure where you got the info on the "XL or Truck Tire" idea. Here some info. Toyo Tires - Sports Car
