Well I think I'll wait on these as well! I was fixing to go with the Toyo Proxies 4 but JMatt you got me thinking on these now.
VVV90 I think I can wait another 30 days also! This might be the greatest tire since Sliced Bread!

Proxes 4 has a treadwear rating of 300
Toyo T1R has a rating of 280
Nitto INVO has a rating of 260
Remember 1) lower is typically better - if stickiness is your goal
2) Some people suggest you can't compare unless it's the same manufacturer. Nitto is a division of Toyo.
Lower treadwear rating = good stickiness for track / traction. But not good for longevity - yes/no? As in, if run exactly the same way, the Proxes 4 would last longer than the Nitto invo - right? Just making sure I got my head straight. Thx.

In theory, you are exactly correct.
One difference is the INVO is assymetrical and you can rotate the tires from left to right. That will help even the treadwear and provide more life as compared to tires that cannot be rotated side to side. Because most of us use staggered fitments (i.e. 245's on the front, 275's on the rear) we can't rotate front to back, so we wear out the backs prety quickly for some unknown reason.
I also noted when someone reviewed the Proxes "275" they weren't actually any wider than the Goodyear F-1 "255". The Nitto INVO in contrast, appears to be a full inch wider than the Goodyear or the Proxes.
Hopefully I can get the Nitto INVO on my car soon and take some pictures so everyone can see their real life application. I'll also take them to the strip and see what they can do. As you know - I'll report back.
is there any more info on sizes...or are they really as limited as it appears on nitto's site? i wouldn't mind trying them but i need 255/35/19 and 285/30/19 and don't see anything close.

I can't even find a place online that sells them. Their dealer search works well so you might want to just call the nearest one.
