I have 157 miles and the brake dust was getting bad and I started to see the rotors score so when I was getting a few things done at the dealer, they said they replaced all 4 rotors and 4 brake pads yesterday. I wonder if they are using different pads now?

Finally got the time to put my new brakes on and I am offically noiseless. Hope to be dustless as well. The job went smoothly except for three issues. Number one, Chrysler did us no favors by not having a jack point behind the front tires. Secondly getting the rims off was a pain in the ass. Had to kick the crap out of them while trying not to damage the rims. and last but not least I was a good boy and went out to bed the brakes. After about the 3rd hard brake I thought I was going to get sick lol. I dont do good with sudden speed changes but I made it through. I didn't change my rotors so the directions call for another bed in sequence. Not lookoing forward to that.

Congratulations on the successful install. I know what you mean about the bedding process. After a while you just want to hurl. But it really does help with brake performance. I guess I’m a wimp….but motion sickness ain’t no fun!

I did ok on the last one until I got crammed in the back seat during the road course. That was a mistake….but I was able to make it anyway. Just puke on the other dudes and keep going is my motto.

Just don't do it while wearing a full-face helmet!

Can you imagine what an astronaut must go through when ... ugh! Never mind.

Just got in from installing my Centri-posi quiet pads and glad to see I wasn't the only one with a hard time getting the wheels off the car. They also had the lug nuts on one wheel at about 500 ft lbs - geez! I thought something was going to break but fortunately nothing did.

It took me more time to clean the backside of the wheels than installing the pads. Only thing I was not sure of was what to do with the OEM stainless steel clip-on shims, after forum consultation was told not to reuse them. Thanks Rick.

Damn, I didn't know either so I used them. I didn't noticed any issues. What could be a problem using them? After 2 days of driving no brake dust and no God awful squeal. I love the new pads.
