New pads don't get rid of the brake dust, its just a less aggressive pad. I did mine backwards, had them replace the pads because they really squeeked then had them replace the rotors. I don't know if the orig. pads squeek on the slotted rotors but the replacement pads are just great. No squeeking but the brake dust is something that you will have to deal with.

I do notice it appearing to shift earlier on 1-2 at WOT. However I am wondering if it is just a faster shift giving that appearance where they preload the second clutch pack prior to the shift? I tested in D and autostick.

Overall shifting strategy at part throttle seems different too. I personally love the change.

after the flash, mine shifts right at 6,000. before i would have to shift at 5,550 to make sure it shifted before it reached the rev limiter and fuel cutoff.
when i purposely forget to shift, and it automatically does at 6,000, it's ultra smooth.
