22" wheels on an SRT-8?? Help!!

I have today mounted and ballanced some Demoda wheels that the dealer told me would fit the 300C SRT-8, however he was wrong! They will fit the 300C but will not clear the brakes on the SRT-8.

Has anyone else encountered this problem with other wheels?

What are my choices?

Pictures and ansers here please!

Thanks

The tires are pirelli scorpions 265-35-22 in the front on 22x9 wheels .........and 295-30-22 in the back on 22x10.5 wheels .

You can PM Joe from Distinct Motorsports (Go to the vendor section) as he knows the exact fittment of the SRT-8 and the clearances. Good luck , Mike.

I have 22" Dropstar DS02's on my SRT8, and have no problem clearing the calipers.

How badly do they not clear? In other words, do the spokes just barely touch the face of the Brembo calipers? If so, then 3mm or 5mm spacers might do the trick.

Is it front and back or just the front?

It was nearly impossible......I had it shipped from a Chrysler dealer I bought it from online in Albaquerque,New Mexico back in November 05 . The car had a build date of 10/05 and had just hit the floor that day . I hunted that bad boy down ( Cancelled the one I had on order ) and made it mine.......but it didn't come cheap....... .

Sounds like whoever ordered the wheels didn't take in to thought the needed backspacing for the clearance of the brembo, you are going to have to probably get some different wheels or use spacers, good luck!

Thanks everyone for the pics.

The rears fit perfect and look awesome but the fronts are at least 10mm shy of fitting properly.

I am going to go for the ID311 wheels I think, otherwise known as GSM wheels.

Going to go for the brushed look with polished lip.

Again thanks
