If you go with the 24's kiss your performance good bye. The wheels that you are looking at weigh about 110lbs each with tires. That's over 40lbs per wheel compared to your current stock wheel set up, if you go with a multi-piece wheel that will reduce the weight. I run 22x9 with 255-30-22 tires up front and a 22x10 with a 295-25-22 in the rear. The rears weigh 62lbs which is right in line to the stock weight. I have driven a 300c with 24" Drop Stars and there was a huge performance loss. You will get look form the 24's but greatly reduce your performance.

Would love to go for the 24s, but I am sure the performance that I love from this car might really suffer.

Anyone already have or know of a 300 SRT8 on 24s? How it drives, handles etc.

I have found a set of TIS07 24x10, 5x115 single drilled bolt pattern with +18 offset. Wrapped in Pirelli 275/25/24 tires.

I was told that these will fit onto the car....

I also plan on installing a UAS kit in the near future...so any info on how the kit will work on 24's would also be appreciated!
Dude do you ever hear people say don't go with 24's that have 24's?........kinda funny huh? Only those who have 22's or 20's say that and deep down inside wish they had 24's. Our SRT's have so much power they are actually better suited for bigger rims cuz we have more power/torque to push them.....straight aways that is. I'm going with U2 35 24's on my SRT8 sometime early next month when the weather gets better here. I know performance will decrease but the trade off is that i won't be driving my car hard anymore......hence better gas mileage even with the gas decrease with bigger rims. In my opinion.....i'd rather be the ONE with 24's instead of 1 in 500 with 22's in my city.....ya know?

As far as airbags.....go get em....just make sure the installer is top of the line so u don't have alignment issues. My last Navigator rode much smoother and handled much better with airbags as opposed to stock bags. I'm sure the SRT with feel smoother too. With bags it's like more of a slow rocking "on AIR" motion instead of a "thump" with stock springs. With ur stock rims on you might even have better handling with bags as opposed to the stock suspension......i tell u when i lowered my Navigator i could get that things sideways and i had a blast zoomin through the canyons in it.........and it's a full size SUV! Imagine in the SRT man................but don't even worry about handling and stuff with ur 24's on, you'll ruin them trying to do anything crazy........
Next month i'm going with 24's no matter what!

What are some good lighter weight chrome rims in 22" or 24"?

I have been looking at some Asanti rims...more specifically the Asanti AF 132.
Anyone know how these way up in 22" or 24"?
Would there be a big difference to the TIS07's?

You are going to want to go with a forged , lightweight two or three piece wheel ...like MHT (or similar). More costly but worth it in my opinion.
