It is your ride and your money for sure, but if you ask for opinions you’ll get a dozen. I personally wouldn’t want all that extra wheel weight so I would try and pony up the pricier lighter weight wheels if I had my heart set on 24’s. It looks like Mike has shared most of the links I would have dug out. Good luck and keep us posted on what you decide to do.

Kinda funny that I can have any size wheels that I want and have had 6 different sets on this car. But when you add 45+ lbs per wheel to car car it's going to kill your performance. That ruffly 180lbs you just added to you car not including unsprung and rotational wieght. If all you want is look then it's a good set up, but if you are worried about performance loss forget about it. As for better gas milage, that won't happen either not when you just added that type of weight to your car. You have to decide what you want. Those who have 24' only care about the look, those who have multi-piece 22's wheels have the look and the performance.

Our SRT's have so much power they are actually better suited for bigger rims cuz we have more power/torque to push them.....straight aways that is. I'm going with U2 35 24's on my SRT8 sometime early next month when the weather gets better here. I know performance will decrease but the trade off is that i won't be driving my car hard anymore......hence better gas mileage even with the gas decrease with bigger rims. In my opinion.....i'd rather be the ONE with 24's instead of 1 in 500 with 22's in my city.....ya know?

Well looks like I have alot to consider before making the decision on 24"s or just sticking with 22"s.

UAS kit def looks like something I will be getting done though.....
DUB13 22'' IS THE WAY TO GO, 24'' IS TOO BIG

If it's the looks you're wanting then I say go 24's. You know the saying the bigger the better.

get 24's if thats what you want...sure there will be a performance loss but if u like the look and if you dont plan on racing or speeding excessively, your ride will still perform just fine...if a touring, and a C can push 24s a SRT8 defiantely can push'em.
first 300srt8 on 24's????

as fas as the bags, you will have a slight float compared to the stiff stock suspension...cornering is great with bags as well.
so whatever floats your boat.

Ok well I have been doing some looking round for rims, and I think I have decided to go for some Asanti Forged 3-piece Rims...
Lot more loot required for these....pockets gonna be lookin empty!
But they look like some really high quality wheels, and much lighter weight.
Now its just deciding on either the 22" or 24"
I am definately going to get a staggered fitting....what is the biggest I can fit for the back wheels? 10.5 or 11? Any info would be good
