got my pads from DZech.. i went with the posi-quite.. 104's front.. 106's back.. minimal dust.. wash once a week and never have dirty rims.. with alot of driving.. mine doesnt sit much..

Are the TSB's ceramic pads? I had ceramics on my last vehicle, performed well, no dust!

Honestly I don't know. The dealership did the work, I just cleaned the rims while they were off the car. I had printed out the Zeckhausen guide to changing the pads (even though I figured the brake guy already knew what he was doing), and I know that he glanced at it at least.

I'd say, by your description, and what I felt while bedding the new pads, that he probably did leave the shims in place. Afterall the car has less than 1k miles... so they must have looked brand new.
