I've got the KW V-2s and both the front and rear are dropped. I have the Goodyear F-1, 255/45's all around and the fronts will rub a bit when attempting a tight turning radius. I'll occassionally hear the rear rub when I hit a large bump a little too quickly. I'm guessing it would be pretty tough to drop the front and possibly even the rear with 295s.

What part do you think rubs? Do you think that a 255/35 or a 265/35 on the stock 20" SRT8 rim would rub since it is a bit shorter than the 45 series tire???

Does it really matter what anyone thinks? I'm listening to the SRT engineers. Since it's "official," I'm not going to go against gospel.

ahh what would they know!! they only designed the cars. I mean come on here. i'm sure we could cram a 345/35/20 up under there and be just fine.

Not really sure, but I'm not concerned as the tires look fine after a few months of this. Sorry for not being more exact.

I agree and will once again thank you for the pics. Can you tell me though, what your feeling is on running tires that are recommended for wider rims? I mean, to each, his own, but just curious on this. Thanks!

sorry for not getting back sooner... you will need to put spacers on the front-5'16s ..there are no rubbing or catching problems . HD

hi doyle.. the company who fitted them said that the tire size was within the the alloy/tire configuration and that there would be no problems down the line, again as you said its each to there own and for me i was never happy with the ride quality with the srt8, just too damn hard and crashy, but now thanks to the softer compound and having more rubber to sit on its a 1000% better. it still lights up the rear's just as before maybe a little more traction but over-all for me a better all round car for having these tire's. just to say i will post pictures tomorrow of the de-chroming (door surrounds & door top moulding's ) i have done, would have posted tonight but have left the camera at work!! let me know your thoughts and thanks for your understanding comments....HD

i've got the 255/45ZR20 for my fronts and 275/40ZR20 for my rears.. all four tires are Toyo Proxes 4's... i got on it HARD tonight with some sharpe corners, and never heard or felt it rub or grind once..

matt, i took the right turn onto ogden from Rt. 59 at 55mph and never got out of control, or felt or heard a rub.. if you know a more extreme right turn let me know.. would love to try it..

"SRT8DANNO" has the 255's for his fronts and also hasnt had not one issue with them.. i've been in contact with him since he got them on and never one issue as he tells me.. with the extra meat, the car does ride much more smoothly.. that is a fact.. i can feel a world of difference in ride quality and comfort.
