"Fix a flat" risk???

About a month ago, my right rear F-1 started SLOWLY leaking. I'm talking 4lbs a day. So I slapped a can of fix 'o' flat in her in the pinch and she's been fine ever since...

After a month it hasn't lost a single pound of pressure ya think it is fixed permanently or do you think it'll start leaking again somewhere down the road?

You have to take the tire in and have it unmounted, cleaned out, and remounted. Fix-a-flat leaves liquid in the tire. It's also highly flamable.

I'm sure the warnings indicate no continued driving after using fix-a-flat.

I hear ya and was going to do just that but got sidetracked and now since it's been a month and it's fine how long do you think it'll last???

I mean if it's fine after a month is it possible the fix a flat fixed it permanently??

I wouldn't rely on it. Especially without a spare tire. It should be quick and easy for a tire place to take care of it. Get 'er done!!!!!

You're right! I was just hoping to ride em out a lil bit because based on my present calculations average 2 burnouts/day since December. I'm going to be needing new tread anyways LMAO!

On my Escalade I got a flat not too long after I got it, and it was late at night in a parking lot, so I had to go to the auto store, the guy said use this fix a flat. He also said it was a permanent fix. I had the car for almost another 2 years before I traded it on my C, and I never took it in to get fixed. The fix a flat, held strong for almost 2 years with zero leaking or problems.

You better get it looked after as you don't know when it may give out.

Speaking of putting things off....how is that wing coming along? No wing and bad tires.....you're headed for certain doom.
