Maybe because they are 9" wide, but the SRT8 rims are on the heavy side for forged rims. I have forged rims and they are 24lbs, but mine are 8.5" wide. Not sure how much 1/2" adds in weight.
When I was shopping for 20" rims, most of the one piece rims weighed around 35lbs.

Yea, i don't know much about rim weight, thanks for the info! I'm going to be having these rims widened to about 10.5 so i'll weigh after the 1.5 inches is added and report the difference!!

So it sounds like you can get 22" 3 piece wheels that weigh less than stock and get the great look without compromising performance. I'm sold on 22"s on that note.

That is a little heavy for a forged wheel, but I'm sure that they are overengineered for safety reasons. Pimpin' down the boulevard is one thing, but I've seen very expensive forged wheels that have failed on track.
