Just replaced my original set of Goodyear F1 tires. I stayed with the Goodyear simply because my local Chrysler dealer has "Tires For Life", buy your tires from them and when they wear out they are replaced free (you do pay for mounting and ballance). That means that I will be gettin a new set every year for as long as I own the car. All that is required it the MFG scheduled maint on the tires, and as I am still well within my warranty period this one time purchase should get me at least 5 or 6 sets of tires for a one time purchase. $274 ea X 4 = $1096 and I am good for the next 5 years. If anyone is wondering you can get the details from Greenbrier Chrysler in Chesapeake Va, if you don't believe me.

Where'd you get yours? My car will be down in Florida (I-95 to I-4 to US-192) in March. If I can figure out a way to get through the winter with the F1s, then maybe I'll wait.

Shop online and then bring the price to your local retailer. Mine matched the price and discounted his normal mounting fees (big wheels) and other extras to get real close to the online numbers.

F1 owners: While they are great when it's hot and dry, they are not when it's anything else! Many F1/SRT8 owners have switched to the Toyos. If you ever do it, you'll be pleasantly surprised!

RSA owners: For God's sake get those pieces of crap off that nice car!

Try the 245/45/20 Nitto Invo. The Proxies I think are more of an SUV tire. I may be thinking the Nitto 420's though. If its an SUV tire it wont perform the same as passenger car tire will.

The Proxes S/T are an SUV tire, the Proxes 4 are an ultra high performance all-season tire. If you see winter weather go with the Proxes 4, if not, you cannot lose with the Nitto INVOs - but they are not a long-life type of tire. Lots to make a decision on...good luck.

From what I have seen, they spin in a straight line like the rest. They must have great lateral grip, but I have not driven a car with them on , only rode in one. They seem nice.

Tried something a little different:

Cooper Zeon Sports - 245/45/20s all around.

They are quite, ride nicely and shed water way better than the F1s.

Interesting point. I'm in SoCal, so I've never seen anything other than at least warm and dry.
