Maybe my BLD calibration is not as good as others OR is it possible that something I have done has altered the calibration of the system? I have changed the rear tires to 275/40/20 w/OEM wheels and I have changed the brake pads all around to the Posi-Quiets.
If the Posi-Quiets have a little less friction could that hamper the BLD?
Just want to lay down two stripes, I know the easy answer is get a quaife and some have said that their cars lay down two stripes without a problem. Of those cars that lay down two stripes every time (without a quaife) have you changed the tires or brake pads?

You are on track to suspect the pad change. My car has always behaved exactly as though it was a real posi, and even tries to straighten the car out when it's biting down!
I run stock brake pads with factory slotted rotors.
BTW, no one on any forum has posted any data on benefits at the strip. There are undeniable improvements for handling, but nothing proves any benefit in a straight line. And I will own one as one of my first mods. Right after that torque converter!
