Unhappy squeaking noise from brakes just painted calipers!!

I recently had my brake calipers painted and clear coated my problem is I don’t know remember if I noticed it before but about 1 weeks after painting it my car was parked outside rained hard for about 3 days and the car hadn’t moved from its place and after that I started the car drove it and heard squeaking noise from the rear brakes mostly on the rear right and sometimes the left ... I don’t know if it was the rain that caused it or the paint job. Does this void my warranty? Because I did take the car back twice for this problem ... and all they did is put cheap brake pads in replacement.... thank you

I remember your story. You're the guy who was quoted tons of money to have this done. Correct me if I'm wrong, I think it was around $1000 or thereabouts to have a bodyshop paint your calipers.

Many of us tried to get you to do it yourself and that's the last I heard about it. Whatever the cost was, for that amount I would hope they removed them. I'd be going back and finding out for sure.

I don't think there's any such thing as cheap pads for the SRT8. Certainly not at the dealers anyway. They were a new shape or whatever when they first came out, so it's doubtful there are knock offs available.
