Ive got the 20 inch Pirelli's and a spare set of 300SRT8 rims...even though they are a suv tire they should be fine......

the RSA's are great in the snow all things considered. I would say the low front end is more of an issue if you have more than a couple inches on the ground in terms of clearance. the TCS does a great job getting this thing up a hill when sllippery. i made it thru 2 seasons fairly easily - big issue is starting on a hill stopped and having to turn immediately. but i was surprised how it did - i was extremely cautious though.

When I had the Super Bee, I swapped the F1's for the RSA's and never had a problem...just don't drive it if the snow is higher than the frnt fascia. Never stiuck, just have to use common sense.

I am in Connectiuct with fair amount of hills and tight turns. It is one of those deals where it is ok if you are out and it is snowing but you cant completely ignore the forecast the you could in an AWD or FWD car but it sounds much better than people i know with RWD BMWs and certianly much better than RWD without all season tires.

Well, I guess the F1's work better for some than others. When I left for work around 6:30am Saturday, there was a little ice on the roads and the F1's had a couple of moments where I did the sit and spin before shifting into 2nd. BUT when I left work Saturday night after it had snowed all day, adding slush and ice on the road--THE F1's weren't WINTER WORTHY for me!! Trust me, I turned while in second, very slowly and the car started sliding in a straight line forward----BUT I WAS GOING SIDEWAYS lol Trust me, I parked the Chrysler and from here on out it's either the Expedition or the Yukon. I will be taking the 300 to be detailed inside and out when the weather clears and reparking it for the winter duration. I had never planned on driving my car during the North Dakota Winters and this proved my point.

Now, the Expedition is a beast although I don't like the gas mileage and constant AWD. The Yukon gets better gas mileage but the other half drives it daily. The Mustang will be nicely tucked away with the 300. N. Dakota Winters demand that I meet it head on with an SUV!! Now I have about 10K miles on my F1's after 2yrs, if I can keep my foot off the gas they might last me a good 30K.

SRT**8 said it very right. I'm in buffalo NY, Just put a new set of RSA's on after 23xxx and 2 winters on my first set. Worked great, while admitably winter tires would be better the RSA's are fine with some common sense, the front end is truly the limiting factor.

NOBODY should drive an SRT8 on F1s in winter period...I could barely put the car in the garage LOL

Pirelli Ice and snow are great tires. I ran them all last winter and drove 3000kms across Canada in winter on them in one road trip! We get a lot of snow and ice up here, when I was in NFLD we had 10 feet of snowfall in less than 4 weeks!!

I have the 19s with 255 Pirelli's but you can get 18s with 235s as well.

Cheers,
Chris
