Nice! Are there any pics of this? I bet they would look bad ass on the rear.

Before widening the wheels, make sure the shop knows that the stockers are forged. I spoke to a place who did some work for a friend of mine about widening them to 20x12 and they strongly recommended against widening a forged wheel. Cast they were happy to do. 2 and 3 piece forged they were willing to do. 1 piece forged they didn't wanna do.

I think they were going to do it a different way then discussed too. What they do is cut out the inner wheel piece and weld in a new one from a Budnik 3 piece wheel. That eliminates the need for sacrificial rims and keeps the stock face and rear hoop. The downside is that you have 2 welds per wheel instead of one, and they are visible if you're looking for them, especially the front ones.

Prob looks awesome but WoW....$250 per rim(4) + 2 donor rims = Not worth it IMO

I don't have any pics from cal chrome, but another member sent me some pics of his. It does look nice. Especially seeing the stock rim/tire next to the widened rim with the 295s. Personally I like the stock 300c srt8 rim the best on this car. I'm getting some 275/40s on in the next couple of days for Fontana next sat (12/1). I tried getting in on the Friday, but it was sold out. I lagged. I'll see how the 275s work, but I'm going to start saving for the widening...

Well, at least you'll be out there racing. Good luck to you and keep us posted on your times. FireMedic also fell asleep, maybe he'll be out there on Saturday as well. I hear theres going to be allot of Corvettes.

My brother-in-law just bought a 06 vette. Bone stock. I'm trying to get him to go, but he's being a poodle. I think I have a shot at beating him with the 275s, diablo running the 93 tune with race fuel and a cai. His is a stick so I think he'll have trouble launching. I know...the vettes are fast...but at this point I doubt he'll show. I'd like to see what some stock 06s run.
