2006 CSRT-8 suspension ?

I am getting more wheel hop than I can ever remember getting with this car.

I have 45Kmiles on the car so far, how long are our stock shocks/struts lasting?

If I were going to lower the car ~.5" and buy shocks/struts what would be the suggested lowering route to keep a good but stiff ride? I am not sure I want to spend the cash on KWs so what would be another suggested route?

Thanks,
Ryan

I'm guessing that the wheel hop has more to do with the tires and colder weather than the suspension. I noticed some wheel hop with only 5500 miles on my car with my F1's when it got cold outside. Now that I've changed over to 19" rims and snowtires, the hop is gone. I bet if you changed out the tires that the tire hop would disappear, especially when it warms up again.
